Grant of options
Sound Oil plc ("Sound Oil" or the "Company") (AIM: SOU), the upstream oil and
gas company, announces that on 26 June 2006 (as disclosed in its recent
admission document) it made the following option grants to directors of the
Company: Gerry Orbell (Chairman and Chief Executive) was granted options over
1,400,000 Sound Oil ordinary shares; and Tony Heath (Finance Director) was
granted options over 700,000 Sound Oil ordinary shares. The options are
exercisable at a price of 7.25p per share (the price of the recently announced
placing by the Company) at any time between six months and six years after the
date of grant.
