Spectra Systems, a leading supplier of authentication technology for banknotes, brand authentication and tax stamps, is delighted to report that it expanded its patent estate significantly in 2016.
During the year, the Company was either issued, granted or received notices of allowance on an additional 26 patents in China (two), Canada (two), USA (two), Georgia, Singapore, Spain and seventeen countries which are part of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI). The patents cover new banknote and products security features, banknote fitness, and banknote cleaning technology. These new patents bring our portfolio to nearly fifty patents protecting the Company's current as well as future product offerings."
