Fairey Group plc announces that it will hold a Board Meeting on Monday 11th
September 2000 to approve for publication its announcement of interim results
and recommended interim dividend for the half year ended 1st July 2000.

Please note that the ex-dividend date will be 16th October 2000 and record date
will be 20th October 2000, with the interim dividend payable on 15th November
2000.
