           Acquisition of Delyn Hire Centres Limited for £1.2 million


Speedy Hire announces the acquisition of the business and certain assets of
Delyn Hire Centres Limited ('Delyn') for a cash consideration of £1.2 million.


Delyn is a well-respected, independent local tool hire business which trades
from four depots in North Wales - Mold, Queensferry, Wrexham and Rhyl. The
acquisition will be fully integrated into Speedy Hire's existing network. It
strengthens the Group's profile and customer base in an area where Speedy Hire
has no existing depots, thereby avoiding the current need to establish
greenfield depots in the North Wales area.


The business will be re-branded as Speedy Hire.  The introduction of Speedy
Hire's operating model and investment in Delyn's hire fleet will drive
improvements in its performance.
