Speedy Hire Plc (the "Company")

Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Management Responsibilities ("PDMRs")

The Company announces the following transactions by PDMRs in the Company's ordinary 5p shares ("Shares").

Awards under the Company's 2004 Performance Share Plan ("PSP")

On 24 June 2011, the following PDMRs were granted awards under the PSP in the form of options.  The options are rights to acquire Shares for nil consideration, subject to the rules of the PSP and to the satisfaction of the applicable performance targets.  No consideration was payable on the grant of an option. 

Awards have been made to PDMRs as follows:

PDMR	Number of shares subject to the award granted under the PSP
Steve Corcoran	785,219
Mike McGrath	508,083

Awards under the PSP will normally be exercisable (to the extent performance targets are met) within a 90-day period following 24 June 2014.

The above notification is intended to satisfy the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4.
