Annual report and financial statements

Spice, the provider of Total Utility Support Services, has published its 2009 Annual report and financial statements for the year ended 1 May 2009, which includes the Notice of the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company and the form of proxy for use at the AGM. The AGM is to be held at 2.00 pm on 26 August 2009 at Corby Training Centre, Bangrave Road, Corby Nottinghamshire NN17 1NN.

The documents were posted to shareholders on 29 July 2009 and have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility located at:

Spice plc

Spice is a total utility infrastructure support services business. The Group's operations were founded in 1996 and have their origins in the electricity industry, although the range of activities has since been expanded into other niche areas. The Group is organised into two divisions to match its utility customer base; a Supply Division; and a Distribution Division. Spice's businesses have a common theme of delivering and co-ordinating infrastructure services to customers, and the technological element within the product mix has been built up significantly over the course of the last three years.
