London, UK - 6 November 2015: Spirent Communications plc ("the Company") (LSE: SPT), a leading communications technology company, would like to notify the market in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R of the following changes in the interests of a Director / Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility:

The Company was notified on 6 November 2015 that on Friday 6 November 2015, Alex Walker, non-executive Chairman had purchased 50,000 Ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 69.0000 pence per Ordinary share.

Following this announcement, the total beneficial interest of Mr Walker and his connected persons in the Ordinary shares of the Company is 270,959 shares.
