Annual Report and Accounts
SJP announces that its 2009 Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of Annual
General Meeting and Form of Proxy have today been sent to shareholders. The SJP
Annual General Meeting will be held at 11am on Thursday 13 May 2010 at The Royal
Aeronautical Society, 4 Hamilton Place, London W1J 7BQ.
In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.1 and Disclosure and Transparency Rule
6.1.2, SJP has today submitted two copies of the following documents to the UK
Listing Authority:
- 2009 Annual Report and Accounts;
- The Notice of Annual General Meeting to be held on 13 May 2010;
- Form of Proxy; and
- Proposed new Articles of Association
All of the above documents will shortly be available for inspection at the UK
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility situated at:

SJP announced its Annual Results for the year ended 31 December 2009 on 24
February 2010. The following additional regulated information, in relation to
the Annual Report and Accounts, is provided in full and unedited text as
required to be made public in accordance with Rule 6.3.5 of the Disclosure and
Transparency Rules of the UK Financial Services Authority. This announcement
should be read in conjunction with SJPs Annual Results announcement issued on 24
February 2010 and is not a substitute for reading the full 2009 Annual Report
and Accounts.
The responsibility statement below is set out in the 2009 Annual Report and
Accounts.
The Directors confirm to the best of their knowledge that:
- The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with International
Financial Reporting Standards as adopted by the EU and give a true and fair view
of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit for the Company and
the undertakings included in the consolidation taken as a whole.
- The European Embedded Value (EEV) supplementary information has been prepared
in accordance with the European Embedded Value Principles issued in May 2004 by
the Chief Financial Officers Forum as supplemented by the Additional Guidance on
European Embedded Value Disclosures issued in October 2005 ("the EEV
Principles").
- Pursuant to Disclosure and Transparency Rules Chapter 4, the Directors' report
includes a fair review of the development and performance of the business and
the position of the Company and the undertakings included in the consolidation
taken as a whole, together with a description of the principal risks and
uncertainties faced by the business.
