Bill Tonks, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility, has notified SJP
that on 17 June 2010 he transferred (by way of gift) 1,252 SJP shares to his
son. His son then sold and bought back the same number of SJP shares at a price
of 233.90 pence per share. The purpose of the transaction was to transfer these
SJP shares into a Self Invested Personal Pension plan (SIPP) beneficially owned
by his son.
On the same day, Bill Tonks' wife sold and bought back 1,129 SJP shares at a
price of 233.90p per share. The purpose of this transaction was to transfer
these SJP shares into a SIPP beneficially owned by Bill's wife.
Following the transaction, Bill's beneficial/non-beneficial interest in SJP's
shares was 141,559 / 15,382 shares respectively.
This notification is made in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule
3.1.4R(1)(a).
