SJP plc was notified on 23 March 2007 of the following changes in interests in
ordinary shares of 15p in SJP plc held by the executive Director and Person
Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMR') named below.



On 23 March 2007, the executive Director and PDMR named below were granted
options under the SJP plc Sharesave Share Option Scheme 2000 to acquire ordinary
shares of 15p each in SJP plc at an exercise price of £3.70 per share as set out
below:
