STAFFLINE RECRUITMENT GROUP PLC
('Staffline' or 'the Group')
Directorate Changes
Staffline, a leading provider of recruitment and outsourced HR services to industry, today announces the following Board changes, which are effective immediately. These result from a succession planning exercise conducted by the Board following Derek Mapp's indication of his intention to step down from his position as Chairman of the Group.
Andy Hogarth currently Managing Director, will become Chairman and Chief Executive. John Crabtree, currently Non-Executive Director, will become the Senior Independent Director.
Shaun Brittain (aged 44) will also be appointed to the Board as an Executive Director. Since Shaun joined the Group in August 2000, he has been one of the Group's divisional directors, with responsibility for the largest region, and has made a significant contribution to the growth of Staffline's OnSite model, which now represents over 75% of Group sales.
Having concluded the Board's succession planning, Derek Mapp intends to leave the Group to concentrate on his other activities, one of which is his new role as Chairman of the British Amateur Boxing Association (BABA), the body responsible for preparing the GB Boxing Team for the London 2012 Olympics.
Shaun Brittain has not held any directorships or partnerships within the last five years. There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
John Crabtree, Senior Independent Director of Staffline, commenting on the Board changes, said:
'We would all like to thank Derek for his significant contribution to the Group over the last four years, during which time he steered the Group through its admission to AIM and on to becoming a well established provider of outsourced recruitment and HR services to industry.'
'Following the changes announced today, we have a strong and well-balanced Board which we are confident will continue to drive the business forward with the benefit of consistent leadership and expertise.'
