Amendment to currency election deadline for Standard Chartered PLC interim cash dividend 2022

Following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the current deadline for receipt of any currency election in respect of the Standard Chartered PLC 2022 interim dividend, Monday 19 September 2022, has been declared a UK bank holiday. Accordingly, the deadline for receipt of any currency election in respect of the interim dividend, announced on 29 July 2022, will be amended to Tuesday 20 September 2022 at 5.00pm (UK time). No further dates in connection with the interim dividend have been changed, including the dividend payment date, which continues to be 14 October 2022.

You can check or amend your standing dividend instruction online at investorcentre.co.uk by following the instructions in the hard or electronic communications sent to you by our registrar, Computershare Investor Services PLC. Alternatively, for those of you who have elected to receive hard copy communications, you can complete the hard copy Currency Election Form and return it to Computershare Investor Services PLC at the address detailed therein.
