Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 24 October 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 48,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 154.5509 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 158.5 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 149 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 123,056,887 ordinary shares of 1p each.
