SOFTBANK CORP. announces that it has repurchased in the open market and cancelled a portion of the Notes with the Paying Agent as stated below. 

SOFTBANK CORP. may in the future consider further repurchases of the Notes, depending on market conditions at the time. No decision to make any further repurchases has been taken. SOFTBANK CORP. will make further announcements following any further significant repurchases.

2. Principal amount of notes repurchased and cancelled:

3. Method of repurchase:

    A number of independent open market purchases during the period February 2008 through October 2008.
