Exercise of options and total voting rights
Southampton, UK - 9 June 2022: Synairgen plc (LSE: SNG), the respiratory company developing SNG001, an investigational formulation for inhalation containing the broad-spectrum antiviral protein interferon beta, today announces that it shall allot, concurrent with Admission, 33,150 ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the capital of the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of share options by an employee under the Company's Long-Term Incentive Plan.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Ordinary Shares, which rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM which is expected to occur on 16 June 2022 ("Admission").
Following Admission, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 201,374,975 Ordinary Shares with one voting right per share. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury. Therefore, following Admission, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 201,374,975. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
