Exercise of Options
Southampton, UK - 14 October 2013: Synairgen plc (LSE: SNG), the respiratory drug development company developing inhaled IFN-beta as a broad spectrum antiviral for asthma, COPD and severe viral lung infections, announces that it has applied for 11,555 ordinary shares of one pence each (the 'Option Shares') to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange ('AIM') ('Admission'). It is expected that Admission will occur and that dealings will commence in the Option Shares on 17 October 2013.
The Options Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of options by certain former employees of the Company. The Options Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares.
Following Admission, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue and admitted to trading on AIM will be 75,195,891.
