Synchronica plc ('Synchronica' or 'the Company', ticker AIM: SYNC) was notified 
today that as at 13 April 2007:

Barclays plc held a total of 2,965,753 voting rights in the Company which, as 
at that date, represented approximately 8.15% of the total voting rights of the 
Company.

Subsequent to the placing on April 16 of 43,750,000 New Ordinary Shares, 
however, the holdings of Barclays now represent approximately 3.70% of the
total voting rights of the Company.
