Synchronica plc appoints new Chief Operating Officer
London, 14 August 2006 - Synchronica plc, an international developer and
provider of mobile device management ("MDM") and synchronisation solutions, has
announced the appointment of Joachim Gmeinwieser as COO, with immediate effect.
Gmeinwieser brings with him a wealth of experience in delivering on large-scale
implementation projects for IT Service and Solutions Provider AI Informatics/
Siemens and will take on responsibility for Synchronica's project delivery team,
managing implementations for Synchronica's largest customers in the UK and
Europe. Gmeinwieser will also head up Synchronica's IT function, with ultimate
responsibility for the company's IT infrastructure, technical support and
customer support departments.
Gmeinwieser has a strong background and proven track record in project
management and joined Synchronica at the beginning of 2006 as acting Managing
Director for Synchronica's German Office.

Mr. Gmeinwieser holds an MA in Business Studies from the University of Brighton.
