Leading Chinese OEM Customer Win

Plastics Capital plc (AIM: PLA) the niche plastics products manufacturer, is pleased to announce winning its first local customer since setting up sales activities in Shanghai, China last year.  BNL, the group's subsidiary that manufactures plastic ball bearings, has received its first order from SSK, which is the leading poultry processing equipment manufacturer in China.

BNL already have a number of existing Chinese customers which are subsidiaries or sub-contractors of European, Japanese or USA-based OEMs.  However the SSK order is the first order BNL has secured by selling direct to an independent Chinese customer.  This is a significant achievement for the newly established BNL China team.

As the leading Chinese manufacturer of poultry processing equipment, SSK has a reputation for high quality machinery and BNL's reputation and track record in supplying the world's leading poultry processing OEMs was important in their decision to choose BNL.
