Press release
23rd November 2007
System C Healthcare plc ("System C" or "the Company")
Pre-Close Trading Update
System C Healthcare plc (AIM: SYS), a leading provider of information solutions
and services to the healthcare sector, provides a trading update prior to
entering into the close period in respect of the results for the six months
ending 30 November 2007, and confirms that it is on track to meet consensus
market expectations for the full year.
Trading is progressing well in both the professional services and product
development divisions of the business.
In particular, the National Programme for IT is gathering momentum with an
increasing number of successful deployments. System C's staff are working with
NHS Connecting for Health (CfH) and Local Service Provider teams to support many
of the go-lives across the country. System C has extended its support into most
care settings and is now working with acute, community and mental health
hospitals and with Ambulance and Primary Care Trusts. Its recent contract with
CfH is progressing well and the Company is moving into many areas of deployment
support, including the new Summary Care Record and clinical systems deployment.
The integration of IQ Systems Services Ltd, a company acquired in July 2007, has
been completed successfully and System C is already seeing the anticipated
benefits of the synergies between both businesses from client, product and
services perspectives.
System C's Chief Executive, Dr Ian Denley said: "We have worked hard expanding
our client base over the last twelve months and we are performing well on all of
our contracts. We are working with Connecting for Health, Local Service
Providers, the independent sector, third party systems suppliers, a wide range
of NHS Trusts, and other healthcare providers such as the Isle of Man
Government. The Board expects full year performance to be in line with consensus
market expectations."
System C will announce interim results for the period on 23rd January 2008.
