Admission of new shares

The Board of MV Sports Group Plc ('MV Sports') announced earlier today that the
Scheme of Arrangement under Section 425 of the Companies Act 1985 for the
acquisition of MV Sports by Tandem Group had today become effective. Under the
Scheme, 12,159,143 ordinary shares of Tandem Group have been allotted to MV
Sports Shareholders as consideration for the acquisition and application for
such shares to be admitted to trading on AIM has been made. Dealings are
expected to commence on Wednesday, 9 April 2003.
In addition, the Board of Tandem Group announces that the reduction of share
capital of Tandem Group by cancellation of 'B' ordinary shares in the capital of
Tandem Group (as described in the circular to shareholders dated 21 February
2003) was effected earlier today.
