TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Company announces that it has purchased 320 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company at an average price of 86 pence per share and transferred them into treasury.

The Company now holds a total of 1,442,326 new ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company in treasury and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 4,571,154.

In August 2012 the Company wrote to all shareholders holding 2,000 ordinary shares or less offering them a share sale service, free of dealing costs.  As part of the service, the Company has, subject to certain terms and conditions, purchased any shares that have been sold.  The 2012 service is now closed.
