Contract Win - UpRight

The Tanfield Group plc ('Tanfield' or the 'Group') is pleased to announce the
first significant new order for powered aerial platform equipment following the
Group's acquisition of UpRight Inc and associated assets ('Upright'). Tanfield
has secured an order for 100 mast lift machines (estimated to be worth over
$1 million).

Reflecting on this important contract win Roy Stanley, Chairman and CEO of
Tanfield, commented:
