Tavistock Investments Plc (AIM: TAVI), is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Dornan to the Company's Board as a non-executive director with immediate effect. The appointment coincides with the resignation of Phil Young, who is stepping down from the Board as a non-executive director in order to pursue other business interests.

Peter has held a number of senior roles within Scottish Equitable, and its owner AEGON. These included 12 years as a member of Aegon's UK Executive Management Board. 

Since 2012, Peter has acted as a consultant to a number of businesses within the financial services sector with a particular emphasis on governance, risk management and financial controls.

Peter will also serve as a member of the Company's Audit Committee and its Remuneration Committee.

Brian Raven, Chief Executive of Tavistock, said "Peter has accumulated a great deal of industry knowledge and experience and we are delighted to welcome him to the Board. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Phil for his service to the Company and wish him all the best with his new ventures."
