Taylor Wimpey plc - Board Change
The Company announces that on 14 April 2008, Ian Sutcliffe, Chief Executive of
the UK Housing Division stood down from the Board of Taylor Wimpey plc and has
also left the Company. Ian will join SEGRO plc as its Managing Director, UK
Property.
With immediate effect, Pete Redfern, Group Chief Executive, will also assume
full management responsibility for the UK Housing Division. Pete Redfern's
previous roles include the post of Chief Executive of the George Wimpey UK
Housing Division, prior to which he was the UK Finance Director.
Norman Askew, Chairman said 'On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Ian
for his contribution to the Board and in particular for his work in leading the
integration of our UK housing businesses following the merger of Taylor Woodrow
plc and George Wimpey Plc in July 2007.'
