TAYLOR WOODROW APPOINTS ADRIAN AUER AS GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR FOLLOWING DAVID
GREEN'S RETIREMENT
Taylor Woodrow plc, the international developer, announces the appointment of
Adrian Auer as Group Finance Director and Main Board director following the
retirement of David Green. Mr Green, who was appointed Group Finance Director
and Main Board director in 1988, has decided to retire early in order to
pursue his interests and activities outside the Group. He will relinquish
both positions with effect from 1 September 2000. Mr Auer will join the board
as an executive director on 14 August 2000 and will become Group Finance
Director with effect from
1 September 2000.
Dr Robert Hawley, Chairman, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Adrian Auer.
His impressive track record in financial management - gained at both large and
small, fast-growing enterprises - combined with his experience in business
development, IT and change management, will be tremendously beneficial to the
new Taylor Woodrow.
'Adrian joins us at an exciting time. As we drive our businesses to
leadership positions in markets with attractive growth opportunities, we look
forward to his playing a major role in the achievement of our ambitious
objectives.
'We are grateful to David Green for the dedicated service he has given the
Group over the past 15 years. In particular, he has contributed significantly
to the expansion of our very successful North American operations and leaves
at a time when the company is in excellent financial health.
'We extend to him every good wish for the future.'
Taylor Woodrow, the international developer, is a leader in housing and
