Taylor Woodrow plc Share Ownership Trusts
On 19 November 2002 the Taylor Woodrow Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust
('QUEST') purchased 782,085 ordinary shares of 25p each in Taylor Woodrow plc at
an average price per share of 178.7534p. These were purchased to meet
forthcoming maturities of options issued under the Taylor Woodrow Group
Savings-Related Share Option Scheme.
Following this purchase, the QUEST holds 914,515 ordinary shares of 25p each in
Taylor Woodrow plc.
There is no unappropriated balance of shares in the QUEST in which the Executive
Directors of Taylor Woodrow plc are deemed to have a notional interest.
It is also announced that on 19 November 2002 the Taylor Woodrow Employee Share
Ownership Trust ('ESOT') acquired 155,038 ordinary shares of 25p each in Taylor
Woodrow plc at 188p each, which were obtained through an off-market purchase.
Following this purchase, the ESOT holds 7,828,885 ordinary shares of 25p each in
Taylor Woodrow plc.
The unappropriated balance of shares held in the ESOT, in which the Executive
Directors of Taylor Woodrow plc are deemed to have a notional interest, is 7,386
shares.
