Board Changes

Appointment of Independent Non Executive Director

The Board of Taylor Wimpey plc announces the appointment of Mike Hussey as an Independent Non Executive Director with effect from 1 July 2011.

Mike is Chief Executive of Almacantar, a private property investment and development company which he founded in February 2010.  Almacantar owns Centre Point and Marble Arch Tower in London's West End.  Mike is also a Trustee of Photographers Gallery Limited.

Mike has held a number of senior roles in the property sector, most recently as an Executive Board Director of Land Securities plc with responsibility for its London portfolio.  Prior to Land Securities, Mike was head of Leasing and Marketing for Canary Wharf Group plc.  He is a former partner at Knight Frank, a former Chairman of the Regeneration and Development Committee of the British Property Federation and a former Trustee of LandAid, the property industry charity.
