TBC Bank Group PLC ("the "Company") announces it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 1 pence each through Investec Bank plc.

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares and following the cancellation of the purchased shares, the Company will have 56,235,661 ordinary shares in issue of which none are held in Treasury.
