CentralNic Group plc (AIM:CNIC), the internet platform business which earns revenues from the worldwide sales of domain names, is pleased to announce the General Availability launch today of the new Top-Level Domains ("TLDs") .website, .press and .host, via domain retailers worldwide.
These TLDs from Radix Registry FZC, one of the leading applicants for new Top-Level Domains, use the CentralNic platform under an exclusive agreement, with CentralNic. Each of the TLDs was selected by Radix in a rigorous research process, and each is targeted at a specific customer group.
.website is a true alternative to the .com TLD. It is open and available-to-all for the full range of possible uses.
The .press TLD will provide its users a platform to share opinions and disseminate information. The primary target market comprises journalists, bloggers, media professionals, news providers and book publishers.
The exclusive new gTLD for the webhosting industry,.host is aimed to be the extension of choice for web hosts, ASVs, ISPs, cloud service providers and other such entities.
