In accordance with the Transparency Directive's transitional provisions, TEG
Environmental Plc would like to notify the market that, as of 18 December 2006,
the total number of 5p ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights is
38,045,381, each share carrying the right to one vote.  The Company does not
hold any shares in Treasury.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
