Tertiary Minerals plc announces today that it has granted 2,900,000 warrants on 9 December 2008 at an exercise price of 2.375p to employees and directors of the Company. The grants included the following directors:

David Whitehead (Non-executive Director)	300,000
Donald McAlister (Non-executive Director)	300,000

The warrants are not exercisable until the first anniversary of the date of grant and may not in any event be exercised later than the fifth anniversary of the date of grant.
