AIM DISTRIBUTION TRUST PLC
Following the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 16 January 2002, the
Company is pleased to confirm that the resolution to change the name of the
Company to Legg Mason Investors AIM Distribution Trust plc was passed.
The date that the change of name becomes effective will be announced once the
certificate of incorporation on change of name is received.
