In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6, F&C Global Smaller Companies PLC ("the Company") advises that as at 5 September 2012 the Company had 42,394,973 ordinary shares of 25p each in issue with a total of 42,394,973 voting rights.
