In accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6, F&C Global Smaller Companies PLC ("the Company") advises that as at 29 February 2016 the Company had 55,261,203 ordinary shares of 25p each in issue with a total of 55,261,203 voting rights.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
