POSSIBLE EQUITY FUNDRAISING

The Board of The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited ("TRIG") announces that, in light of the pipeline of attractive acquisition opportunities in both solar PV parks and onshore wind farms identified by TRIG's investment manager, InfraRed Capital Partners Limited, both from third parties and from TRIG's operations manager, Renewable Energy Systems Limited, it is actively considering an issue of additional equity. The current intention is that the proposed fundraising will take place in March 2014, subject to prevailing market conditions.  It will be conditional on shareholder approval and is expected to take the form of a placing, open offer and offer for subscription of C shares (the "Issue").  An announcement giving further details of the Issue will be made in due course.

TRIG is an investment company which invests in renewable energy infrastructure, focusing on onshore wind and solar PV energy generation assets in the UK and Northern Europe.  TRIG is listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation of approximately £320 million.  TRIG's portfolio currently consists of 20 wholly-owned operational assets of which 6 are solar PV parks in the UK and France and the remaining 14 assets are onshore wind farms in the UK, Ireland and France, with total portfolio generating capacity of 288MW.
