TR-1: Notification of Major Interests in Shares




The Evolution Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification
on 20 March 2007 from Lansdowne Partners Limited being the General Partner of
Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership (LPLP), Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited
(LUKEFL) and Lansdowne Partners International Limited ("Lansdowne") that in
accordance with DTR Transitional Provision 7 Lansdowne was interested in
11,025,750 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares") representing an
indirect interest in approximately 4.98% of the issued Ordinary Share Capital 
of the Company. LPLP controls 11,025,750 voting rights. LUKEFL owns 10,522,252
voting rights with the balance held on behalf of client funds managed by LPLP.

Morstan Nominees Limited is the registered Shareholder. The chain of controlled
undertakings through which the voting rights are effectively held is Lansdowne
Partners International Limited being the parent undertaking of Lansdowne
Partners Limited (the Proxyholder).
