EVOLUTION APPOINTS CEO OF INVESTMENT BANKING DIVISION
Evolution Group Plc ("Evolution") is pleased to announce the appointment of
Andrew Umbers as Chief Executive Officer of Evolution Securities Limited. In his
new role he will report to Alex Snow, Evolution's Group Chief Executive Officer.
Aged 41, Andrew Umbers has spent 20 years working in UK equity markets,
principally with Credit Suisse since its acquisition of BZW, which he joined in
1990. He was appointed a Managing Director of Credit Suisse Equities in 2000,
and in 2005 he joined Credit Suisse's global hedge fund, Modal Capital.
Alex Snow said, "I have worked with Andrew at Credit Suisse and BZW and believe
that his knowledge, expertise and investment banking experience will be
immensely valuable in driving Evolution Securities' performance to new levels
during its next stage of development."
Andrew Umbers said, "Taking Evolution Securities on to the next stage of its
growth as one of the UK's leading independent investment banks is going to be
both exciting and challenging, and it is this challenge that has attracted me to
join the Evolution team."
