Trading Update
Evolution Group Plc (the "Group"), the listed investment bank and private client
fund management group, today issued a trading statement ahead of the close
period relating to the half year ending 30 June 2007.
The Group has completed a good first half. It has achieved its strategic
operating goals and its financial performance is at least in line with market
expectations. These will be detailed in its interim statement which is expected
to be released on 11 September 2007.
The Board is confident that each of the Group's operating businesses is well
positioned to progress further during the second half.

Strategic Objectives
As previously stated in the Evolution Group Annual Report and Accounts for the
year ended 31 December 2006
Within Evolution Securities Limited, the core strategic objective is to attain a
sustainable and balanced franchise in the secondary and primary UK Equity market
place .
The strategic objective of Williams de Broe, the Group's private client fund
management business, is to maintain the strong momentum in winning new funds
under management and reach the target of £3 billion of funds under management by
April 2008.

business with offices in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. It offers UK based
institutional clients research and trading in Chinese stocks and Chinese
corporates access to the markets in London and Hong Kong.
