Thor Mining PLC ('Thor' or the 'Company') was notified on 9 January 2007, that
Alfriston Australia Pty Ltd ( 'Alfriston') sold 196,400 ordinary shares of 0.3p
each in the share capital of the Company ( the 'Shares') at AUD$ 0.23 per Share
and 118,200 Warrants at AUD$ 0.10 per Warrant on 9 January 2007. John Barr,
Thor's Executive Chairman, is Chairman of Tennant Creek Gold Limited, and is a
director of Alfriston; and Kensington Consulting Pty Ltd ('Kensington'). John
Barr and related parties control 100% of the issued share capital of Alfriston
and Kensington. Following this transaction John Barr's beneficial and
non-beneficial interest in the share capital of the Company are as follows:
