Transfer of title update
Thor Mining PLC ('the Company' or 'Thor'), AIM, ASX: THR, the specialist metals company focused on advancing tungsten-molybdenum and uranium projects in the Northern Territory of Australia, confirms that the Company today received a formal written apology from Mr. John William Benger in relation to the notice he posted on the 'HotCopper' website on 2 July 2009. Mr Benger acknowledged that Imperial Granite and Minerals Pty Ltd did execute an instrument of transfer for ML 23825 (the Tenement') in favour of Molyhil Mining Pty Ltd, Thor's its wholly owned subsidiary, for good consideration and that he had no right or authority to offer the tenement for sale. Further he acknowledged that all rents and other liabilities payable in respect of the Tenement have been duly paid by Molyhil Mining Pty Ltd.
The Company confirms that a transfer application has been lodged with the Northern Territory Revenue Office for stamp duty assessment on the transfer of the Tenement. The transfer papers, once assessed and stamped by the Northern Territory Revenues Office, will be forwarded to to the Titles Division of the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry, Fisheries and Resources to change the name on the title.
A further update will be made once the Titles Division has registered the Tenement in the name of Molyhil Mining Pty Ltd.
