Board Appointment
Sharon Cooper appointed Group Finance Director
The Board of Digital Barriers plc (AIM: DGB) (the "Board"), the specialist provider of advanced surveillance technologies to the security and defence sectors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Denise Cooper (formerly Collins) (37) to the Board of Digital Barriers as Group Finance Director with effect from 3 March 2014.
Sharon is a Chartered Accountant by training, having started her career at Ernst & Young in 2000, and has subsequently served in a number of senior finance roles with Sophos Limited.
Sharon is currently VP, Commercial Finance at Sophos Limited having previously served with the organisation as Group Financial Controller. Sophos Limited is a Network security business providing software security to businesses globally. It has offices in 20 countries and annual revenues of approximately £250 million.
Sharon graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Accounting and German and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
