Joint Statement Re. Extension of Agreement at London Luton Airport
Following the joint announcement made by TBI and easyJet on 26 July 2001 with
regard to landing fees at London Luton Airport, both companies announce that
constructive negotiations towards a mutually beneficial agreement continue.
Substantial progress has already been made but due to the complexity of the
discussions, both companies have agreed an extension to the existing charges
until negotiations are concluded when there will be a further announcement.

* TBI and easyJet already have a successful relationship at Belfast
International Airport (BIA), which is wholly owned by TBI.
* easyJet started operating flights from BIA to Luton in 1998 and has
since added services to other domestic and international destinations.
* easyJet will be extending its services from BIA to Scottish
destinations in August 2001.
