Board Change

TBI plc ('TBI') announces that David J. Lewis has retired from the board with
effect from 30 January 2001.

Mr Lewis was appointed a non-executive director in January 1996, when TBI
completed the acquisition of the listed property company, Molyneux Estates
plc, of which he was both Chairman and a substantial shareholder. The advice
and encouragement which Mr Lewis has given during five years on the board of
TBI have been invaluable and we wish him a long and happy retirement.
