Professor Ray Lohr's Retirement
Transense announces that Ray Lohr, Technical Director has decided to retire with effect from the 3rd April 2009. Ray had originally intended to retire in 2007, but agreed to delay his retirement until this year. Ray has a very keen interest in motorsport and wants to expand that interest, his professorship at Oxford University and other personal engineering goals.
The Board of Transense is pleased to announce that Ray has signed an agreement, initially for one year, to work as a technical consultant to the business. Ray's focus will be on extending the new activities that Transense has within Professional Motorsport. In addition, Ray will continue to give technical support to Transense and be available for presenting papers at international conferences.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Ray for his many years of service at Transense and for the very strong engineering drive and enthusiasm that he has given to the Company over the past seven years.
