Translogik Receives Further Tyre Inspection Tools Order From EDP
Transense Technologies plc ("Transense") (AIM: TRT), the provider of sensor systems for the transportation and industrial markets, is pleased to announce its trading division, Translogik Limited ("Translogik") has received a further order for sixty of its truck tyre inspection kits from its French partner, EDP. The tools will be supplied as part of EDP's commercial fleet management systems that provide wireless, error-free data on the condition of vehicle tyres.
Jean-Luc Giusti, CEO of EDP commented: "We are continuing to develop our range of electronic tyre inspection solutions that integrate the Translogik tools with our commercial fleet management software. Our customers demand systems that can operate reliably and accurately, 24/7, and the best-in-class Translogik solution is the only tool we recommend."
Graham Storey, CEO of Transense, commented: "We are now seeing regular orders from our global partner network and anticpate this trend continuing as the requirement to maximise tyre life and performance becomes an increasing imperative for fleet operators as they seek to reduce vehicle running costs. A recent study commissioned by one of our South African customers demonstrated an 88% reduction in the time required to inspect a truck's tyres by using Translogik inspection technology - we believe this demonstrates the value of the products and are confident that we have the leading solution in the developing electronic tyre inspection market."
