TRANSENSE TECHNOLOGIES PLC (the 'Company')

WAIVER & GRANT OF NEW OPTIONS

22nd December 2008

The Company announces that on 22nd December 2008 options over 250,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each under the Transense 2008 Enterprise Management Incentive Option Scheme were granted to Dr. Raymond Lohr, Technical Director of the Company. Dr. Lohr also waived options over 340,000 ordinary shares issued under previous EMI & Unapproved share option schemes.

The new options provide the right to subscribe for Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of £0.10 per Ordinary Share; the options are exercisable two years after the date of grant. None of the options are capable of exercise after the expiry of five years from date of grant.
