                   Notification of Director/PDMR Shareholding



The board of Travis Perkins plc (the 'Company') was today notified that Mr F W
Smith a PDMR, exercised options over 2,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the
company ('shares') at an option price of £5.715 per share and subsequently sold
2,000 shares at a price of £10.46 per share.


As a result, Mr Smith now has a beneficial interest in 6,325 ordinary shares of
10p each in the Company, representing less than 0.1% of the issued share
capital.
