Notification of transactions of directors, persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMR) or connected parties

The Company was notified on 21^st October 2011 that, on that day, Richard Hope, Finance Director of Treatt plc, transferred 1,542 ordinary shares of the Company into his SIPP, of which he is the sole beneficiary, at a price of 353p per share.

In accordance with paragraph 2(f) of the Model Code, this transaction is not subject to the close period.

The above transaction does not affect Mr Hope's total beneficial holding.
