Purchase of Treatt PLC shares by the Treatt Employee Share Trust
On 27th January 2005 the Treatt Employee Share Trust ('Treatt EST') purchased
200,000 Treatt ordinary shares at 220p per share. This purchase and the
resultant holding represents 3.38% of Treatt's ordinary share capital.
The shares held by the Treatt EST are held for beneficiaries who include, inter
alia, directors and employees of Treatt and its subsidiaries. Therefore the
directors, being potential beneficiaries of the Treatt EST, are interested in
all the Treatt shares acquired by the Treatt EST and not allocated. The
directors concerned are Hugo William Bovill, Anita Jane Haines, Robin Mears and
Richard Andrew Hope.
